Property Market Review Bureigh Heads

Burleigh Heads Suburb Profile

The Burleigh Heads suburb profile is known as one of Gold Coast’s hidden treasures. This suburb, located in Queensland, was named by Surveyor J. Warner in 1840, after the shape of the headland.

Burleigh Heads offers dreamy views over the skyline of the northern Gold Coast. It is known for offering a laid-back lifestyle that promotes health and tranquillity. Both locals and tourists alike flock to this town’s trendsetting eateries and impressive boutiques, which are on the rise thanks to independent businesses that are banking on this town’s potential.

As with most towns located on the Gold Coast, Burleigh Heads is perfect for ocean enthusiasts. It offers favourable surf conditions, patrolled swimming beaches and a bustling foreshore.

The Burleigh Heads suburb profile is enveloped in lush greenery and advocates an outdoorsy lifestyle, with plenty of sights to see and lots of activities for both young and old. Burleigh Heads Beach is a surfer’s dream and is bordered by Justin’s Park, which offers generous picnic and barbeque facilities, sunbathing hotspots, markets and pathways that lead to nearby Miami Beach.

Burleigh Heads is also peppered with plenty of popular coffee spots, which makes this town a coffee addict’s dream destination! If you are an early riser, you can stop for some delicious coffee and go for your morning run in the Burleigh Heads National Park.

The town is also home to some native wildlife. The David Fleay Wildlife Park offers close-up experiences with platypuses, crocodiles, wallabies and more. You can even swing by for a live show or to witness a feeding.

However, if wild animals aren’t your cup of tea, you can visit the Burleigh Brewing Co., a hand-crafted brewery that boasts full-bodied beers in a myriad of flavours.

Although this town has become a well-known vacation hub, plenty of locals have settled here to enjoy a quiet yet adventurous life, away from the hustle and bustle of city living.
