Miami Suburb Profile
Immediately north of Burleigh Heads, you will find the bustling suburb of Miami on the Gold Coast of Australia. This town was named after the Miami Hotel which was built in the suburb in 1925.
The Miami suburb profile shows Miami has come a long way since the 1920s, with cottages initially being fitted with timber and fibro with the foreshore being mostly wetlands. Now, Miami Queensland properties are a sight to behold, with panoramic views of the beach and a lively café culture that is hard to resist.
Apart from all the exciting activities that the beach has to offer, Miami is also known for its Gold Coast Burleigh Golf Club with the adjoining Pizzey Park. Both locals and vacationers alike can try their hand at golf and then enjoy some of the splendour that the walking trails and lake have to offer. If you are a fan of swimming, you can also join any of the three local swimming clubs.
All in all, Miami is an amazing place that offers plenty of activities for both young and old. Whether you want to lounge near the pristine beach, indulge in the street food markets, or take a look at some of the night time art on offer, there has never been a better time to invest in Miami QLD real estate.
Miami Lifestyle
Miami Beach welcomes up to 50,000 visitors on an annual basis, which mostly consists of locals who live nearby. Roughly 50% of visitors visit Miami to enjoy the beach’s wide range of amenities, rather than to dip their toes in the water.
The beach’s neighbouring parklands contain playgrounds, beach showers, barbeques and so much more, which makes it the perfect hangout for the entire family. There is also a bike parking lot located at the Miami Surf Life Saving Club, which makes it easy to park near to all of the fun activities that you wish to enjoy.
Compared to nearby coastal towns, Miami is a bit more secluded while hosting a caravan park and a tennis court. The town also sports a strip of beach bungalows – giving Miami a retro vibe and making it a popular choice for vacationers year-round.
Miami Marketta, the town’s street food market comes alive three times a week, which allows you to sample food from all over the world.
